up thinking about the bonnie and charlie kelly tragedy again. ohh their relationship is so not normal. she loves him in a way that she doesnt realize is selfish she never taught him to read or take baths he probably found out the stove was hot from touching it. bonnie's relationship with charlie is inherently abusive but shes not some mastermind or criminal she is just a very ill woman who doesnt realize when shes being manipulative or when what she calls empathy is actually just fear or sadness for herself.

charlie spent his whole life parenting his mom back and coaching her through her episodes and internalizing her superstitions and compulsions and in the end he didnt break any kind of cycle he just ended up worse than she is. he doesn't speak to her now he never even calls her he hates being around her... hes a dick to her maybe more than she deserves but in charlie's mind it's not about what she was trying to do its about what she ended up doing to him in the end. she depends on him in a way he never could on her. charlie could never be a dad and maybe its because bonnie kelly wasnt really ever a mom to him but also what else could she have possibly been but a mother. so much of her is reflected in him and they are so entirely unalike and he hates even thinking about her but he also won't leave philadelphia because she's in it and isnt it all so sad and strange

godddd cellbits recurring motif of "i cant. ive tried." whenever someone tells him not to lose himself, both the bad and the good is so.. the implication of a perpetual fruitless spiral of turning man to monster and monster to man, and failing at both because loves too deeply and instinct is ingrained into him deeper than the carvings in his knife. he cant fucking stand himself. he can't stand how he can't be normal and has to rely on drinking copius amounts of coffee to stay awake enough to not lose it. he can't stand how even in the depths of his desire for vengeance, he hears the pain in his loved ones' voices and still stops to listen. these two parts of him have to be incongruous, because he knows he was happier when he was one without the other. and yet, time and time again the people who care about him tell him not to lose himself like they view him as whole. and again and again, he tells them that he can't. because he's tried to break himself in half and it doesnt fucking work like that. and he'll continue until he destroys himself because hes fucking Tired of being whole.

Okay, so, Alastor theory. As far as I know nobody's discussed why Alastor ever made such an apparently disadvantageous deal.

I mean, his power is apparently leashed. He cannot access his true strength. He essentially handicapped himself in Hell. Alastor detests not being in control, he craves power because it nets him control and therefore nets him safety and security, a very rare commodity for a demon. Even an Overlord.

So why the hell would Alastor make such a shitty deal? He's a dealmaker, he knows how this works, it can't just be the result of tricky wording, there must have been something else at play.

Additionally, I'm in the camp that its Eve that has something to do with it. Lilith makes sense of a sort but why would she leash Alastor and then have him help Charlie with a project that would piss off Heaven? She's Lilith, she knows that trying to bypass the initial judgement and redeeming yourself would upset the bigwigs in Heaven. She knows they don't like having their rules bent and twisted. She gains nothing from pissing off the Heavenly Host by indirectly helping her daughter. She made a mysterious deal with Adam to get into Heaven, why would she knowingly jeopardise that?

But why would Eve care? Simple. She feels like Lucifer and Lilith betrayed her by gifting her the apple from the Tree of Knowledge. They betrayed her and she was forced into a life of pain and suffering with a husband who she realised didn't truly love her and children who started to turn on each other the moment they could. And then that same husband (or ex-husband by that point) turns around millennia later and gets Lilith into Heaven.

What the fuck?

So Eve decides that the best way to sort this out is to do what Lilith supposedly did. Betrayal disguised as assistance. Charlie is a well-known bleeding heart by now, all Eve need do is find a way to stoke that altruism until it becomes a Problem that Heaven needs to solve. Poke the altruistic bear enough and that Problem will blossom into a Shitstorm that'll drag Lilith off of her cosy perch in Heaven to sort out her wayward daughter and try to avoid Heaven deciding to exterminate every demon in Hell. Plus it'll give Adam a headache which is only a plus in Eve's eyes. And what better way to help the Princess than gift-wrapping Hell's most powerful Overlord and depositing him on her doorstep?

Her ultimate goal might be provoking an all-out war or simply petty-revenge that'll eventually get out of hand but I digress.

How does she persuade Alastor to accept such a shitty, hampering, restricting joke of a deal?

Again, simple. She's in Heaven and as such has access to angelic steel and a plethora of souls. Including Alastor's mother. The only person he ever truly loved in his life.

I'm willing to bet Alastor would do anything to safeguard his mother. Even selling his own soul.

Of course there's still the seven-year gap to tackle but who says Alastor didn't spend those seven years in Heaven? Maybe Eve managed to smuggle him up there and disguise him, let him enjoy seven years of bliss by his mother's side before blindsiding him with her ultimatum. Makes the clipped wings comment more literal.

Just my thoughts, of course, but I really can't see why else Alastor would sign his own soul away if not to protect the one person he lets himself love. He hardly made the deal for power if the deal restricted his powers and he was certainly in no danger from the other Overlords. So he made the deal, he saved his mother, but that doesn't mean he's not gonna try to find a way out of it.

The New Man Of The House - Universe

In honor of my 3,000 followers as of yesterday

Why is it after I finally get my shit together in life it’s in a newly created neighborhood of a certain style like never existed before in this world.

The head of this neighborhood lives in the center of the area proudly dressed in a tight two piece suit, dress shirt, and black shiny shoes to boot.

Patrick is his name the head of this inventive neighborhood invites me over for a welcome drink and i cross the street knocking on his door he opens it.

I enter the hallway as the door shuts close in my face I feel a shift in the air and he offers me a drink glass cup of ice tea taking a sip between his lips.

He tells me I can take a seat in the living room which I do, I snap my finger in a whiff of his scent, and I notice him return to the room.

I am pretty evil at the moment checking all of the corners he sits down, I manage to dig out a new blend of Hypno drops I pour a few in my hand.

His toaster oven goes off alerting him to take out the goodness of dinner he prepares

for us happily I pop the fork off dropping in a few pills.

I twist the cork closer tightening it removing it into my palms and then shaking it up in the air as the alcoholic beverages mixes

all together.

He returns to my side sliding in the seat next to him he sighs heavily with dirty and super withering hands grabbing the bottle then he flips the top off.

The bottle lifts curling in between his lips as they close around it taking a sip of the drink I can see it burn down his throat I can see it get to work.

Narrowing, constricting and releasing all in one go downing it there is a buzzing reality type of situation causing his body going in to a state of shock.

He froze instinctively by a short, small and an odd stimulating response touching him to the side and I laugh waving I hand in his face.

My hand moves faster like the wind tapping his tiny head hitting him on impact as he fell back into the couch and I shut down the house.

The window blinds drop, doors lock and the window shut throughout the house leaving us utter alone the place is so dark but perfect.

I walk into the kitchen taking the well done meat, finish the rice and completed the rest of the meal and I let the aroma fills through the home.

I notice upon my return Patrick is awoken in heat from his deep slumber his clothes are spread onto every surface and he his drunk off his ass.

Music on playing loudly, dancing and blindly singing his next rock and roll song jumping up and down as he slid across the floor in his underwear.

He does some more dancing smiling at me he can’t believe it the smell of such delicious food hits his nose thralling his senses I hand him a bottle.

When the gang was singing to Charlie and trying to cheer her up, they offered her their hands to get up. And which hand did she take?

SHE TOOK ANGEL DUST'S! Angel, who didn't believe in her at all was the one who pulled her up! Not Nifty, not Husk, not Vaggie and not Cherrie's, but Angel's! Who didn't believe in her at all and was quite oppossed to her project! He was only there because he got a free room but now he's the one to pull her to her feet and help her feel better! He genuinely believes in her dream now!
